The B1025 from Colchester brings you over "The Strood" where you will see water either side of the railings, take the right hand turning to West Mersea. Follow the road down to the village centre passing the church on the left . The sharp right hand bend will bring the river Blackwater in sight on your left, follow coast road pass the house boats till you can see a boat yard on your left with the Victory Inn on your right.
